A taximeter that is not running still leaves traces: a rear door that opens, a rear end that sinks, a belt that clicks in, eleven kilometres of driving. Meine Taxis reads these traces every night and shows you in the morning the trips that were not billed.

How it works

The car reports what happens
Doors, belts, suspension, taximeter and location come to us continuously from the permanently installed device. The driver notices nothing and cannot switch anything off.

At night the shift is evaluated
Every stop is assessed: did somebody get in? Was the meter running? Was there an Uber or Bolt trip for it? Was it registered as a private trip?

In the morning you see the list
Only trips with a passenger, at least one kilometre, without meter and without platform trip are on it. With time, route and driver. What you do with it is your decision.
What it does not do
- Whether the fare was paid, the system cannot see. A fixed price or a favour looks the same. The list is a review list, not a verdict.
- Without a connected taximeter or roof sign there is no statement about the meter.
- For vehicles that provide no belt or seat information, the seat sensor helps out.
Questions
Does this need a camera in the car?
No. There is neither camera nor microphone. Detection comes from doors, belts, suspension, taximeter and location.
Can the driver switch it off?
The device is permanently installed and has its own battery. Every gap in the data is visible in the proof chain and reported by the daily guard.
What about Uber and Bolt trips?
They are imported and matched against the car's own trips. What was a platform trip does not count as fare evasion.
How fast do I see something?
The evaluation runs every night over the whole shift. The list is in the app in the morning.
